We are pleased to announce the launch of a feeder service between Mombasa Port and the Somalia ports of Kismayu and Mogadishu, starting in January 2025.
Our principal liner carrier, AMU Shipping Services-FZCO, will deploy a 1,000 TEU ship on the Mombasa-Mogadishu shipping corridor. AMU Shipping Services-FZCO will operate a dedicated weekly vessel schedule from Mombasa Port to Kismayu and Mogadishu. The service aims to offer faster, reliable and regular feeder connectivity from Mombasa port.
We believe that this new feeder service will not only boost the transhipment business volume at Mombasa Port but will also unlock valuable opportunities for Kenyan manufacturers and traders to expand their reach into the regional markets.
